The Shift Key Programme is an exciting new IT based programme
offered by LEDCOM in conjunction with the Glenlough Community
Association, Carnlough.
A variety of courses such as:

are being offered at two new
purpose built computer suites at LEDCOM's Willowbank Business
Centre at Millbrook and in the Glenlough Centre, Carnlough. Each
suite is equipped with the latest computer equipment and software,
including Microsoft Office 2003 and Office 2007.
The Shift Key programme will particularly suit rural dwellers who
want to gain basic computer skills and those who want to refresh
or upgrade their IT knowledge with a view to making better use of
their computer. Those wanting to return to employment or to change
career will really benefit from the programme.
This project is part financed by the European Union through the
Peace & Reconciliation Programme managed for the Special European
Union Programmes Body by the Northern Ireland Rural Development
Council. The Programme aims to increase the employability of
participants, assist local businesses and to improve community
relations in the Borough of Larne. |
